Fishing Rods for the Kids
Kids can fish too! In fact, we recommend if you have kids, to take them with you on your next fishing trip. Fishing builds a number of characteristics within children, including patience, and a level of self-confidence. Especially if your child catches a fish, they will feel a very strong sense of self. Set them up for success with the proper fishing equipment.
Kids/Children's Fishing EquipmentThe equipment you would let your kids use to fish is the same equipment you would use. Just be sure to supervise them properly. No one wants to lose an eye from an improper cast! If you have small children you may want to buy them a kids fishing rod. These generally are shorter then average rods. Shorter rods are good for the kids to learn with as they have less of a chance of hurting themselves or getting the line mixed up, or tangled.
